Firm named to SP 500 list for 12th straight year, increasing revenue in a tumultuous pandemic year.
CRN’s annual Solution Provider 500 ranks North America’s largest solution providers by revenue and serves as the gold standard for recognizing some of the channel’s most successful companies. Structured, a privately held company, significantly increased its revenue in 2021 over 2020, going from $112 million to just over $120 million in annual revenue. As a result, the company also jumped higher on the SP 500 list, rising to spot 191 from 197 the year prior.
“In the face of grave hardware shortages, Structured focused even more on its broad portfolio of professional, cloud-based, and managed services,” said Structured President and CEO Ron Fowler. “Where on-premises hardware absolutely was needed, we worked with customers to place orders as early as possible while diligently — and even relentlessly – scanning distributors for that necessary equipment.”
Reacting to global supply chain issues, many customers made the leap to cloud services like SaaS, DRaaS, IaaS, and even SOCaaS, relying on Structured to guide them through their decision making and migrations.
“Because of our depth and breadth of expertise – and our laser focus on information security — we have a keen understanding of the many dependencies in play with cloud. We were frequently called upon to help our clients shift they way they consume IT, taking care to shepherd the changes in ways that minimized business disruption and maximized long-term benefits,” Fowler added.
Meanwhile, cybersecurity concerns led to significant growth in demand for Structured’s compliance services, including penetration tests, risk assessments, and regulatory gap analysis. Global staffing shortages also caused an uptick in demand for Structured’s managed IT services offerings. Both areas continue to see significant growth in the first half of 2022.
“The Solution Provider 500 list from CRN serves as the benchmark for the top technology integrators, strategic service providers, and IT consulting firms, making it an invaluable resource for technology vendors seeking to partner with today’s top-performing IT solution providers,” said Blaine Raddon, CEO of The Channel Company. “My congratulations go out to each of these companies for their extraordinary contributions to the continued growth and success for the IT channel.”
