Structured’s Managed Services Highlighted Again for Top National Honors

CRN names Structured for MSP Elite 150 for third straight year due to “strong mix” of available services.

PORTLAND, Ore. (Feb. 20, 2018) – Structured announced today that it was named to the 2018 Managed Service Provider (MSP) 500 list in the Elite 150 category by CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company.

CRN’s annual MSP list recognizes North American solution providers with cutting-edge approaches to delivering managed services. Their offerings help companies navigate the complex and ever-changing landscape of IT, improve operational efficiencies, and maximize their return on IT investments. Further, the Elite 150 designation recognizes large, data center-focused MSPs with a strong mix of on-premises and off-premises services.

“Modern IT teams face a lot of competing pressures – both technical and economic,” said Structured President and CEO Ron Fowler. “Cloud initiatives, service delivery mandates, and even new investments in marketing technology must be expertly executed by teams that already were responsible for substantial work. Offloading necessary but predictable and repeatable tasks to an experienced and reputable company like Structured makes sound technical and financial sense.”

For fast-paced business environments, MSPs play an important role in helping to leverage new technologies without straining budgets or losing focus on core business needs. CRN’s MSP 500 list shines a light on the most prescient and innovative of these key organizations.

“We offer comprehensive managed security, managed network operations center, and managed cloud services 24x7x365 for those busy IT teams needing a helping hand or even some in-depth expertise,” said Mark Hickman, Structured’s vice president of managed services solutions. “For a predictable monthly cost, we ensure companies meet compliance and security requirements, maintain robust employee access to apps and data, and recoup the full value of their significant investments in technology infrastructure.”

CRN’s 2018 list includes two additional categories: the MSP Pioneer 250, recognizing companies with business models weighted toward managed services and largely focused on the SMB market; and the Managed Security 100, recognizing MSPs focused primarily on off-premise, cloud-based security services.

“Managed service providers have become integral to the success of businesses everywhere, both large and small,” said Bob Skelley, CEO of The Channel Company. “Capable MSPs enable companies to take their cloud computing to the next level, streamline spending, effectively allocate limited resources and navigate the vast field of available technologies. The companies on CRN’s 2018 MSP 500 list stand out for their innovative services, excellence in adapting to customers’ changing needs and demonstrated ability to help businesses get the most out of their IT investments.”

The MSP500 list appears in the February 2018 issue of CRN and online at www.CRN.com/msp500.
