Structured Skyrockets Up CRN’s Annual SP500 List in 2020

CRN SP500 2020 Award
Firm jumps more than 50 places from 2019 to capstone a decade of strong performance and growth.

PORTLAND, Ore. (June 1, 2020) – Technical excellence, skillful business leadership and a keen sense of customer demand combined to vault Structured up the venerable Solution Provider 500, an annual recognition of top North American solution provider firms bestowed by CRN® a brand of The Channel Company.

This year also marks another proud milestone for Structured – 10 years of inclusion on the prominent list.

Each year, CRN releases its list of top 500 solution providers, a ranking of the leading IT channel partner organizations across North America by revenue. CRN’s Solution Provider 500 list serves as the industry’s benchmark for recognizing the top-performing technology integrators, strategic service providers, and IT consultants. It is a valuable resource for technology vendors and customer organizations looking to partner with top solution providers. This year Structured broke into the time-honored list’s top 200 with a placement of 178 based on its 2019 revenue.

“Structured has remained a constant, strong presence on the SP500 list because of our ability to pivot as customer need requires,” said Structured President and CEO Ron Fowler. “Advanced cyber threats, stringent and complex government regulations, the evolution of data centers, and the explosion of cloud services has meant more customer engagement with our team and requests for the IT services we offer.”

Based on market trends and industry insight, Structured has been accelerating its competencies for and services around information security and compliance, multicloud and “everything-as-a-service,” and IT managed services for the last several years. This focus kept the company relevant in the face of rapidly changing business priorities.

To remain competitive and control costs, many companies are divesting from on-premises data center management, complex and resource-intensive security operations, and mundane IT oversight requirements. Still, they need a trusted advisor and partner to help them select third party services; plan for and manage migrations; and improve security, compliance, and data protection capabilities not under a service provider’s control. Structured fills this role.

“IT service delivery is changing, but the need to protect users, information and assets – and to control costs – is not,” said Structured VP of Technology Solutions Bill Tracy. “Our experience, depth and breadth of engineering expertise remains as valuable to customers as ever in this shifting technology landscape.”

CRN and The Channel Company also acknowledge that Structured and its peers are powerful growth drivers and fulfill a critical need for modern business success.

“CRN’s Solution Provider 500 list showcases the top IT channel partner organizations across North America,” said Bob Skelley, CEO of The Channel Company. “This year, companies on this list represent a combined revenue of $393 billion, a data point that underscores the impact and influence these solution providers have on the IT industry. On behalf of The Channel Company, I’d like to congratulate these companies for their outstanding contributions to the growth and success of our industry.”
